Hello, I purchased my dishwasher about a year ago from Lowes, just recently i noticed it was holding stagment water on the bottom. I thought the disposal may of been clogged however that was ruled out.
Then the second problem was that it would not start right away, for some reason it would go into delayed start regardless of what mode I pressed.
I'm not in the position to purchase a new unit and would hate to call a repairman out since I have had bad experiences in the past with them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Try unplugging it or killing power for a few minutes to see if that will re-set the control board for the delayed start problem, remove the front kickplate and check the pump and drain hose for obstruction disconnect from disposal drain in a bucket and see how much flow it has. you may just need a drain pump they normally get louder when they go bad

I did what you said and it does appear as if though the board did reset and now it is starting immediately however the water still does not appear to be draining and the pump is sounding louder than usual. I think you are on the money with your opinion as to what is wrong. How much would a pump cost more or less. Thanks soo much for your help.

Take it off and take it back tell them you didnt need it and pull the drain hose off and check it
