When I test the compressor no matter what combination of pins I touch, I still get the same reading. Does this mean the compressor is bad?

The readings will be very close. Set your meter to read ohms on the lowest scale. Measure from the pin by itself to the ones that are side by side, then measure between the ones that are side by side. Post your readings and we can progress from there. What was the refrigerator doing, just totally not cooling?

all the fans are blowing but the air is warm and the compressor feals hot. I unplugged it from the wall and have tried testing the compressor like you said. I get the same reading of one ohms on all pins.

If those readings are correct, the compressor is faulty.

cmill, Don't be so quick to condemn your compressor based on what people on the internet say. Does the appliance ninja actually have a wiring diagram for your model? Do you even know what circuit you are even testing for resistance? I have found if you read through all the questions on this forum the same 2 answers are given by the same 2 people. They just want to sell you parts on this website. That is my conclusion.

The resistance of the compressor windings is showing the compressor is faulty. The tech sheet for your model is below. The start windings should read 3-11 ohms and the run to the start winding should read around 9-14 ohms. So if they are all testing at 1 ohm, the compressor is testing faulty.

I don't guess that would happen because its a correct solution? I mean if it happens to break twice on 2 different units the solution would not be repeated, its going to be different even if it is right? Is that what you are saying? Did I get that right?
