have a whirpool ultimate care 2 the washer was agilting but will not spin to get the water out of the clothes it will drain had someone replace the coupler but still wont spin if its to much weight unless you open the lid and push it first or remove some clothes I have the transmission and motor out what should I be looking for to figure out the problem the transmission or the motor or clutch other than transmission was wet cant see anything visualy wrong and I bought the washer used so not sure if the transmission has leaked out all the fluid unless I take it apart

Typically the problem winds up being the transmission is not staying in neutral while the water is being pumped out.
This in turn will cause the coupling to break.
It will also cause the clutch to slip and fail.
I suggest (without further info) that you either replace the transmission (or rebuild it) and replace the clutch and coupling as well.
The trany is pretty reasonable
