Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 11/25/2007(UTC) Posts: 1		Dryer starts and runs for awhile then starts making buzzing noise before it stops. After it sits awhile it will restart, but problem will repeat itself a few times before load is done. My guess is either thermostat safety or timer?

Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Expert Joined: 9/20/2007(UTC) Posts: 21		Check rear drum support for excessive wear. A dragging drum will cause the motor to overheat and shut down. You may hear a scrapping noise at rear of dryer.
