MY PROBLEM WITH MY WHIRLPOOL DUET WASHER ONLY BEGAN WHEN WE RECIEVED A FLASH FLOOD IN ARE BASEMENT LAST WEEK AND SOAKED THE MACHINE UP TO THE DRUM CLEANED MOTOR,CCU AND ANY OTHER PLUGS AND PARTS I COULD WILL POWER UP BUT KIND OF SEEMS LIKE IT IS STUCK IN A CYCLE THE DOOR WILL NOT UNLOCK BY USING ANY CONTROLS ONLY WAY IS MANUALY IS THIS CONNECTED DIRECTLY WITH THE CCU? I SPRAYED WITH ELECTRICAL CLEANER LOT OF MUD IN THE WATER ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED ARE INSURANCE DOES NOT COVER ARE DAMAGE WE ARE CRUSHED TO SEE ARE WONDERFUL MACHINES SITTING THERE IDLE. dONNIE:confused:

Cleaned Up Wiring And Motor With Electrical Cleaner And Grease For Electric App,replaced The Ccu Machine Has Been Running Perfect Since Then Still Have To Get To The Dryer Though. Donnie

Also Dig Your Great Manualout For Technicians And You To Be Helped In Trouble Shooting The Machine It Should Be On The Inside Panel Of Your Washer Taped In A Plastic Bag This Tells You The Diagnosis For Your Troublcodes It Is Very Helpful Let Me Know How You Make Out Good Luck Help With Any More If Ican. I would put a heater near the unit and blow dry for a day. Also, disconnect all connectors and clean with a non-residue spray. Also, you can pry off the top of any relay that got soaked and clean.
