My 2013 Whirlpool Duet front load washer is displaying these codes:
F06
E01

Repair guy came out today, didn't even look at the washer. Just looked at the codes I wrote down and said I needed to replace the two boards (MCU and CCU). He left. I tore it apart. Looked at all connections and everything was plugged in correctly and secure.

Washer front panel display works, senses, door locks, but the drum doesn't move.

What would you recommend doing next? Buying both boards? I'm comfortable changing them. But they're expensive to buy if that's not the problem.

Can those codes indicate any other problems?

F06 indicates main control board and/or program faults.E01 Pump issue or dirty drain filter.
Clean drain filter and if error code still comes up then the pump should be checked to see if it has a stuck impeller or is faulty, clogged, or the wiring harness to it is damaged or loose.
