my whirlpool duet will not drain or spin. what could be the problem

Look for some tech notes either inside the bottom panel or under the top. They will show you how to put your machine into a test and diagnosis mode. Also clean out the drain pump and drain system.

If you need more info post back the results of your testing and the full model number of your machine as there are several models of the Duet.
