My refrigerator thinks it's 74 degrees when it's really below freezing. Digital reading says it's 74 degrees, I have it set for 37 degrees. I think it is trying to drop the temp to 37 but it's just freezing. Any suggestions on repairs?

Could be that the thermistor which measures the temperature could be bad.
Also might be the main control board.

GE has a lot of problems with control boards in their units.

Below is a manual which although not a perfect match to your unit will at least give some info.
