Makes ice fine. Motor makes sound. Ice does not release. I have emptied the bin and put a few cubes in but ice is not released when you push the lever:confused: Model ksss48qmb00

everything works it just gets very hot between the two doors where they shut

Remove the ice bin and check the couplers (#16 & #25 at the diagram).

Thanks ..Discovered that water must have melted and then frozen during the power outage and so ...maybe it was the coupler taht:) was not turning. Melted it with a hair dryer and all is well.
