The ice and crushed ice dispenser quit working a few weeks ago on this refridgerator/freezer. I also have a Whirlpool fridge with the same auger motor and I tried swapping them. Both motors work in the Whirlpool, neither works in the KA. The solenoid works and when I hold the door switch closed and push the ice dispenser lever on the door, the solenoid actuates and there is a fairly loud humming noise coming from the auger motor; but, the motor does not turn. I am suspecting there may be a control board issue of some sort; but, would like to further diagnose before purchasing something like that. What can I do to test?
