Hello,
The stove top lights do not come on. I replaced the bults and they still do not come on. THe indicator on the front says toggles thru and says off, bright, and night. (mAybe not in that order or wording) Anyway the light does not come on. Any ideas?
Thanks, Greg

My KitchenAid hood combo has the same problem plus inside light won't come on either.... I'm thinking there may be a fuse that's blown though.... still waiting for some help in the forum before taking on any repairs.

Hi Greg, Sorry for the delay. The stove top lights operates by the control board. If there is no power to the lights then the control board has to be replaced. - The control board Part number: AP3185305

I picked up a Kenmore 363.62709200 microwave at a yard sale (for cheap, thankfully) and installed it over my range. The microwave part works great, but the first time I turned the light on, there was an almighty ZAP. I immediately shut the light off, disconnected it from power, and pulled both bulbs, which seemed to be in pretty rough shape. Fearing the worst, I plugged one bulb in and plugged the unit back to wall power. The microwave still works fine, but neither the light nor the range fan will turn on -- the controls happily cycle through "HI / LO / OFF," but there's no response from light or fan. Oh, and I can hear a faint "click" as I cycle through the settings.
Any notion of how I'd go about diagnosing what part's necessary? Is there a separate fuse for the lights/fan?
Thanks!
