maytage microwave will not heat and timer runs faster than normal.

I took my microwave apart and took the diode to Haagdeon appliance store in Erlanger ky, they checked the diode and said it was good. I explaned my problem to them and they said my microwave was in demo mode. I put my microwave back together and it worked normally.
