Last year the latch broke on the soap dispenser. I replaced it and since then the lid will not open to release the soap. I bench tested the solenoid that actuates the latch and it works fine. The other issue I am having is that I get a message LO at the end of the cycle saying that the rinse aid is empty even when it is full. So today I replaced the main control board hoping it would cure these issues. But it didn't. HELP! Any input or suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi mnbaird
The first thing I would do is to check wires inside the door.

I have visually looked at the wires and connections. They all look good. Is there anyway I can go into a diagnostics mode and actuate the solenoid through the control panel to see if it is getting an electrical signal?

All technical data suppose to be inside the control panel or inside the door.

I fixed one once, soap contaminated the electrical connections at the door latch connector and the timer pins. I just pushed on the pins and it worked. You might try non-residue spray on the timer and connectors and push all the pins in the connectors.
