When the washer reaches Rinse on the timer, the machine will not advance any further in the cycle. What part needs to be replaced?

Does the washer DRAIN? If not, check the LID-Switch, If it does drain, check to see if you get cold water coming into the washer!!!!

Yes, the washer will drain if I manually move the dial past the "rinse" mark. The washer will complete its cycle. It seems to get hung up when it hits rinse.

It sounds like the TIMER has a dead spot in it. The only thing to do is replace the Timer!!! Before you run out and buy a timer, Try 1 of the other cycles, MY guess is that it will go thru the other cycles OK. If it does, REPLACE the TIMER!!!:)
