Stopped cooling, I upluged it for 24 hours then I pluged it back in worked fine for a few days then stopped cooling again. was told it could be a defrost timer. I looked up parts diagram online did not see a defrost timer listed. there was 2 different defrost therastats. could one of these be the problem.

Have you seen a frost build up on the rear panel inside the freezer?

Does the fan inside the freezer work properly?

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for General Electric GTS22ICMBRWW Refrigerator | AppliancePartsPros.com

There is no defrost timer in your refrigerator. Everything (including the defrost cycle) is operated by the main control board which probably is the culprit.

- The main control board Part number: AP4436216
Part number: AP4436216
