My GE Arctica reaches a temp of 9F on the freezer side and 41F on the frig side.I have cleaned out the coiled condenser, pulled the mother board loose and checked the back for burns and could find none.Could the mboard still be bad or could it be something else?

If the condensing fan is running, you might have a system problem for a pro to look at.

Basically, this fridg will run a lot, wasting energy, and never get to the set temperature. If a system problem, inefficient compressor/ refrigerant leak, it will gradually get worse. Monitor the freezer temperature to check. Another thing to check is the compressor stopping before the set temperature is reached. Unless it's in defrost, this failure would indicate a bad motherboard.

Wow what a change, you probably got a bad motherboard. I got confused once from a bad board, these compressors are so small, it takes a long time to chill down and if the motherboard is bad, it may never get down to acceptable levels.
