Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 12/12/2013(UTC) Posts: 1		My front load Amana washer shows a code F1E2 and the door will not unlock. I have reset and played with it and nothing works! Please help! What is a code F1E2 and where can I get a tech manual?

Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Senior Expert Joined: 3/29/2009(UTC) Posts: 11,699		Unfortunately Maytag does not allow access to service manuals anymore, but there should be some tech notes under the top cover or inside the lower service panel that will explain the codes for you and tell you how to do some diagnositic testing. If you cannot get good diagnostics, the problem main be in the main control unit. Good luck, hope this helps.
