I have replaced my control board in my double oven because the touch panel was not working (thunder storm did it again).:( After installation and powering up the unit it is asking to set up the unit. I do not have a clue of what to put in. Is there a service manual for the unit that tells me how to do it? If so I would like to purchase it.

when replacing the control board, the board has to be told what oven it is in.

it needs to know if it is a g.e. profile, or a g.e. monogram.

here are instructions

power oven off.

power oven back on.

within 5 mins of powering up, press 0803

press factory 1 on display

press change until it displays proper name

press accept, to confirm

press exit.

you should be able to say "presto"
