I have a frigidaire over the range microwave that does not start. If you pull up on the door it'll start up but then the timer will not work and it doesn't heat. If I just leave it alone and hit start the timer will go but nothing will happen. Is it cheaper just to buy a new one or is there a fix?

Thanks for the quick reply. How do I check the connections?

Look for discoloration and melted insulation.

I opened it up and everything looks normal on the connections I can see. I looked at what happens when I lift the door but still nothing looked out of place.

You need to check the door switches with the multimeter for continuity. Remove the wires first and then C to NO no continuity with the door open, C to NO continuity with the door closed. Opposite reading for the C to NC contacts.
Simon.
