I am trying to figure out what part i will need to fix my microwave. All of a sudden it will just start flashing on its own the fact that it wants you to pick the size portion to cook chicken nuggets, if you catch it in time and push one, many times it will start the cooking cycle and you can then pause and cancel it. This then puts it back to normal. If you don't happen to catch it while it does this, it goes into SE mode and essentially locks out the control panel until you unplug the unit to reset it. The problem is the unit will not stay reset. It just randomly jumps back into chicken nugget mode. It is very frustrating to say the least, it is only a year and a half old. I looking for advise regarding what part to replace. I think it may be the whole control panel but would like help narrowing it down. Thanks.

Mine, too, is only 1-1/2 years old and just did the same thing -- the keypad seems to have shorted out. I ordered a new control panel (which actually costs a couple of dollars less than just a keypad -- and a whole lot easier to replace), for about $60, including shipping.
I'm a 62-year-old woman, and was able to replace this part myself in about 15 minutes. I do have an issue with one of the connecters, which I need to find more info on, so will be posting that myself.

The parts place had sent me the wrong control, so now I'm waiting on another one, but it will take two weeks because it's out of stock. I'll try to remember to post back when my microwave is working again.
