Naturally, we can't tell over the internet where the oil is coming from. The gear case IS somewhat servicable; parts are available. You may get lucky as you observe the machine in operation, and see where it leaks. Just be sure to jumper the lid switch when you remove the cabinet, and the machine becomes fully operational for your inspection.

If you have accessed it according to either of the videos on page one of this thread, you may want to try a little WD-40 or other lubricant, and get under it with a tie-down strap or similar item, and coax it upward until it breaks free.

I am still trying to get the agitator off.

I ran the washer through all the cycles Permanent, Cotton White, Cotton Color,Pre soak,, Pre Wash, Delicate and Suds.

The only cycle that engages is the Suds. The rest of the cycles it cilicks as if to engage and shows an agitating motion. If you grab the agitator, the motions stops. You can spin the agitator in reverse with no resistance.

Any suggestions?
