Failure codes for different models can be different. According to the Failure Codes list for PGR models, the problem most likely is a bad Electronic Range Control (ERC). - The ERC Part number: AP3392876

This code is not listed under the GE built in oven. I see it under others though, is it the same?

I just ordered a replacement controller/clock for my Maytag Oven, since the existing one kept beeping randomly and the oven would not stay on. (But no fault code) I installed the replacement part, and within 5 minutes it showed an F1 fault. New part from this site, right out of the box. Before I exchange it for another board, is there something else that I should be checking? Is it possible that something else is making it do a F1 fault or did I just get a dud? Thanks
Maytag model MGR574ADW Barb

Barb,
The part number is correct and it looks like the control board is defective. They should replace it under the part warranty.

Hi Gene:
Thanks for all you are doing here helping people! :)
We have a Frigidaire electric range model GLEF378CSB and the oven is not working. No codes are thrown and the touch panel "looks" like it is working (all functions) but no heat in the oven or broiler. A tech was out several months ago and said the EOC needs to be changed out for the sum of $450!. Now, if no codes are thrown, is this a possibility?
Thanks,
Tony
