All functions appear to work. It fills, agitates, drains, and spins. However, it will agitate immediately upon starting to fill and adds water during the final spin cycle, thus leaving the clothes wetter when done. There are no unusual sounds. Any ideas?

I would check the water level switch. Remove the plastic hose to it and blow in it to clear it out. Check the other end where it goes into the tub, clear out any soap residue with vineger.

The entire hose is clean including both connecting ends. What next?

Kenmore mod# 11023022101 On all cycles, it will instantly agitate as it begins to fill with water. Normally the tub will fill with water first as you add soap and clothes, then begin to agitate when the water is at the proper level. It also appears to spray or add water to the final spin, and therefore the clothes are not as dry as normal. These two symptoms began at the same time.

Sounds like a bad timer. If it has a metal cover, remove it and check for burnt/welded shut contacts. If it looks ok, just replace it. You can order it on this parts site.

I have the exact same problem. Did you ever find out the cause? Was it the timer? Thanks!
