My dryer will not heat so I tested the thermostat & I did get continuity. I tested the wires to the element while the unit was on with temp setting on high and no voltage. What could it be? Could it be a fuse or part?

The first thing I would do is check for 240 VAC at the wall outlet for the dryer. The heating element needs 240 VAC while the motor needs only 120 VAC.
Gene.
