I have this problem in my GE side-by-side now, and I'd like to run a new water line. I know this was a while back, but if you remember anything it might really help me. Thanks.

Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 9/30/2012(UTC) Posts: 2		when the inside of the freezer door was taken off to replace a broken line on our GE profile side by side, #TFX27PF,TFT27PF, there was foam covering everything and could'nt figure out how to get to the water line. Does this foam come off or are we unable to replace the broken line?

You probably can remove part of that foam to get to the tube and then reinstall it. Place the new tube as far as possible from the inner door panel. Gene.
