the washer has a digital board which will not come on therefore cannot turn it on replaced the elec control unit but was not the problem anything else i could check

Since you did not post a model number I am assuming you have the basic Calypso. There was some changes in the part, see this listing. Part number: AP3837551
If you have it connected ok, check to see if power is getting to the board. Here is a service manual for the Calypso which may help. https://secured.whirlpoo...4632a4/$FILE/8178010.pdfMake sure all your contacts are clean and well seated. If all checks out your interface board may be the problem.
