Pull the washer and remove the access panel on the back. Check the wires to the magnet control (aka wig-wag) and the spin solenoid. - The part number for the magnet control is AP3121800 The new magnet control comes with the complete installation instructions. Gene.

i have removed the access panel. it seem to me that the wig wag solenoids are both working properly. the spin solenoid activates while the other solenoid deactivates and vice verse. i dont know exactly what is supposed to happen when they switch, but the arm that the spin solenoid is on doesnt move while the other one pushes in. the motor stops and it is like the machine just shuts off. Possibly a timer? or maybe something else.
