I have a Kenmore dryer that squeels when you start the dryer. I removed the drum to to get to the motor and when I spin it over by hand it make the squeek noise, so I would assume it's the bearings on the motor going south. My question is how do I get the blower wheel off. I know it threads on but which way to I turn it to get it off and how is the best method of removing. Thanks for any help

Often they do not come off without destroying the blower wheel.

The air impleller on my new motor is right hand threads. lock the motor with a 7/8 socket on the pulley end in a socket. inset 1/2 extension in the front of the impleller and turn clockwise. that is what my instructions said to do. the threads do match this form, but my plastic caved in!!! might want to put some wd40 on for while first. just hope your luck is better than mine reco

Glad to hear you are up and running.

Seems that more often then not the blower wheel has to be destroyed or perhaps on this forum we only see the blower wheel problems when it cannot come off.
