Forgive my insertion into this thread, but the problem Lance describes is exactly the same as mine. Mine is a GE combo, the number inside the microwave is JKP85W0A2WW SN HV61712Q May 1999. yet on the back of the unit the numbers are 191D2356G002 SN DV918089S.
Unit has been working fine except every now and then the turntable would stop. When it stopped the heat stop. Everything else was fine, the timer works, the light comes on, the fan runs. the turntable doesn't work and there is no heat. I replace the turntable motor and no luck. I have had the unit 100% apart and there are no signs of damage to the wiring, circuit boards etc.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

Sounds like the problem with your microwave is a faulty control board. Post the wiring diagram if there is one. Here are the break down diagrams for the GE oven/microwave combo Model JKP85WA2WWGene.

Here is the technical docs from inside the unit. Is there a way to verify that the problem is the control board and not some other part?

Check the primary interlock switch (the top door switch) and if there is nothing wrong then replace the control board. - The part number for the door switch is AP2024337 - The part number for the control board is AP2025274Gene.

removed the switch and tested it and it test fine. Put it back and same issues. There is some play in the door and I was wondering if it was the interlock switch earlier. So I lifted up on the lower right hand corner of the door and the magnetron comes on and heats, but the turntable still does not move. Could it be a door alignment issue that isn't making proper contact with both switches?

You have to check switches when they are in place, with the door closed. You can not align the door but you do can adjust the door switches by moving the door latch body.

I have adjusted the door and the switches are working correctly. Now the heat works, but the turntable still doesn't turn. Is that an indication of the control board having a problem?
