Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 3/1/2008(UTC) Posts: 1		I tried to replace the control panel on my GE front-load washer and all it does is beep twice. No '---' for model number input. Only two beeps every time I push a button. HELP!:confused:

So in my frustration, I became patient lol....I let it sit unplugged overnight. Came back to it and plugged it back in around 11AM. And immediately the door locked and the display read "---" as it was supposed to. It appears the new control panel had to get adjusted to it's new home first. =)
