Hello,

I have a KitchenAid combo Microwave/Oven Wall Unit, KOCE500ESS05. It is showing error code F6E8 and sporadically "Close (MW) Door".

I have followed the troubleshooting via the Service Technician's Manual, W10756611B, but to no avail. I have ordered and replaced the following:

Main unit fuse
20A/250V Fuse
2 Door Switches
AM Control Board W10915648 (AppliancePartsPros order #15322052)
UI Panl-Cntrl W11093254 (AppliancePartsPros order #15335195)

All of the above has continuity and is functioning. However, F6E8 Error persists.

In the Diagnostics control screen, I do note that the MWO AM software version reads 00.00.00.00. Also, the HMI SN does not read a SN. Is there a programming sequence that needs to be completed after the new AM control board is installed?

Really appreciate any guidance that you can give.

Many thanks!

Tim

Trace the door switch wiring back to the thermal cut offs at the top back of the microwave compartment. May have burnt connection or no continuity.
