Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 3/28/2020(UTC) Posts: 0		My washer will not consistently spin during rinse/spin and if it does, when it's finished it stops abruptly. Sometimes I can reach in and manually spin the agitator to get it going but it doesn't always work. If I take out the inner tub, I can observe the transmission spinning freely. When the inner tub is in, there is a rubbing sound that I cannot absolutely locate, though it seems to come from near the drain hole. After the first time I put the inner tub back in, the washer spun and slowed to a stop, but has since resumed spinning sometimes and stopping hard. Agitate works. Drain works on Extended spin but not on regular spin. I don't know if this is one problem or many. What do you think? I appreciate any help at all. Thank you. So I put 3/8 nuts on the spin hub over the bolt holes, lined up the tub and tightened the bolts. It spun quietly with no water. Then it spun quietly with lots of water. Then it spun quietly with a large load. It no longer stops too abruptly. It has that little bit of rebound that I'm used to seeing. I'll get longer bolts to account for the nuts, but for now my washer works again.
