My washer will not consistently spin during rinse/spin and if it does, when it's finished it stops abruptly.
Sometimes I can reach in and manually spin the agitator to get it going but it doesn't always work.
If I take out the inner tub, I can observe the transmission spinning freely.
When the inner tub is in, there is a rubbing sound that I cannot absolutely locate, though it seems to come from near the drain hole.
After the first time I put the inner tub back in, the washer spun and slowed to a stop, but has since resumed spinning sometimes and stopping hard.
Agitate works. Drain works on Extended spin but not on regular spin.
I don't know if this is one problem or many.
What do you think?
