So twice now, I have a melted/burnt wire connector on the direct drive washer motor. This is the same connector, last replaced in August of this year. Any ideas on what is causing this? I attached a PDF of the motor and location of the wire and several pictures from August and today. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Well obviously there is some type of short that is causing a heat buildup that is melting the connection. This is not good.
You could try replacing the motor switch but I would watch things very, very carefully because this could be a fire hazard. If you have any doubts, replace the machine, saving money is not worth a fire.
