i have no lights on my panel. checked power in it was good at 120 volts. also checked continuity to the thermal fuse and both door latches. all good however i did find that on one of the door switches i got no reading when i checked continuity of the wires that connect to switch. i found this out when i tried to jump them to see if switch was dead. does this mean it is electronic control board or maybe the control panel?

Here are your parts. Parts for Kenmore Dishwasher 66513484K902 - AppliancePartsPros.comDo you have the tech sheet? The open measured at one of the switch wires does not necessarily mean a bad control board. But from what you have tested so afr it does sound like a control board problam. If everything else check our OK then the control board is all that is left. |

ok, just want to make sure with control board. most places do not allow returns on electronics. if its not the board then its the panel. my dilemma is at $150 i fix it, at $300 i buy a new dishwasher. i was just wondering if there was a better way to tell if its board or panel without trial and error

AppliancePartsPros do allow return of boards etc. Please see their return policy.
Companies do not publish schematics of the control boards so it makes them hard to troubleshoot. |
