Range ran in self clean and now display is out. I have found most common reason is the high limit thermostat. I am ordering that (8300802) as well as the blower, as most people have said that is a reason for the overload to go out. My question is should I get resistance on the other thermostats behind the front panel. There are two and one of them does, the other (9759944) does not. I'm not sure what this controls and if it is working or not, so I'm not sure if I should order a replacement.
Thank you.

Here are your parts Parts for Whirlpool GW395LEPB00 Range - AppliancePartsPros.comSee the attachment for the tech sheet. I only see 3 thermal devices in the unit. Item 16 in section 01 of the parts should be the fan control thermostat. it should be open at room temperature. The other two (items 23 and 37 in section 03) should be the thermal switch and the thermal fuse, both should be 0 ohms. If the fuse is gone I would also replace the switch. |
