Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 7/30/2015(UTC) Posts: 1		If door opened while in heat cycle, heat element continues to get extremely hot. Everything is normal during cycle, heat on/ off by timer and shuts off when cycle complete

If so, then you either have a grounded heat element or a faulty motor. If dryer produces heat while running in air only then it's more likely a grounded heat element. Eric
