The washer will spin but does not completely spin all the water out of the clothes. Sometimes the spin cycle needs to be run multiple times and the cloths still need to be rung out by hand.

I'm thinking it's the clutch assembly but I'm open to other suggestions.

LSN1000LW3 ... I took the clutch ring off and some of the pads are worn. I was able to spin it fairly easy. Also a little greasy buildup I cleaned up.
