Folks,
My fridgidaire classic series electric range is not working. Heard a loud pop and it lost power. Now, its not even powering on.
Would appreciate some feedback on what to do.
Thanks,

Here are your parts includes a wiring diagram. Parts for Frigidaire FEF366CCF Range - AppliancePartsPros.comDo the stove top elements work? Does the oven light work? If nothing at all works on the stove then it is probably a power problem. But before even checking that see if you can find out what the pop was. Unplug the unit when doing this. Check that the bake and broil element coating is OK. Check that the control board is OK. Check that the wires in the unit are OK pay special attention to the ones associated with the oven elements. Try flipping the breaker off/on slowly, sometimes you can loose half the line without actually tripping the breaker. If this does nothing, check the voltage at the plug L1 to L2 should be 240 volts L1 to Neutral and L2 to Neutral, both should be 120 volts. If OK Unplug the unit and check the wires at the terminal strip in the machine to make sure none are loose or burned out If OK Check the power at the terminal strip.
