After removing the access cover & inspecting, it is obvious that's not it. While down there, it is clear the noise is coming through the vent. I think I can fix it if you think you know what it might be & have the parts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.... Thanks in advance, Chris

Check the rear support rollers ror wear/slop. Also check that the shafts are OK. Check the idler roller. Would also check the front glides sometimes it is very difficult to isolate where the noise is coming from. Also put some pressure in the direction the belt pull the motor's pulley and then try. Th endbells (rubber supports that hold the motor bearing centered) can wear out

It spit out a couple dozen pebbles/pea gravel, some more dust & dirt, and about 15 minutes later the noise stopped. Maybe all that stuff got shook loose while I was sliding the machine out of it's spot? I don't know, but I'll certainly hang onto your information. Thanks again, Chris
