Can someone help ? I am replacing a old Gaffers & Sattler gas oven thermostat (part #993-453) with the recommended Maytag replacement part Manufacturer's # 7404P066-60 (part # AP379254) and have received the replacement part but, the two terminals on the replacement part are not marked. The old part (#993-453) is marked with a BKE for one terminal and L1 for the other terminal. Since the replacement part is totally different in looks than the original part and the terminals not marked I am lost as to reconnecting the two oven wires to the two UNMARKED terminals on the replacement part (if connected wrong and blows replacement part, warranty is no good). Again, the replacement part is somewhat different in looks, smaller and both UNMARKED terminals protrude in a different direction. None of this is a problem as long as I can get the oven wires connected to the replacement part thermostat terminals correctly. Thanks

Because it is a gas oven it does not matter how the oven wires are connected to the terminals. It is now connected and, up and running.:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
