My gas dryer is no longer heating. Could it just be the vents need to be vacuumed or a part fixed?

Hi.

If it takes too long to dry, then it's a restricted vent, but if there is no heat at all you should run the troubleshooting using a multimeter. By testing the parts before replacing you may save money and time.
Check if the ignitor glows, if not check the thermal fuse (it should have continuity).

The thermal fuse is #10 on the diagram 05-Motor Drive parts for Maytag MDG7400AWW - AppliancePartsPros.com

Post the results.

Simon.
