I have a GE Spacemaker microwave with a cracked door frame. I have replaced it before a number of years ago. Apparently, the heat from the range below must cause the plastic outer door frame to crack over time....not a great design.
In any case, I cannot remember how to remove the door handle, which appears to be secured with two screws -- one visible and easily accessible and the bottom one inside and not easily accessible.
Can anyone tell me how to access the bottom screw so that I can remove the old frame and install a new one?

open the door. there is a plastic frame that covers the two latches. this frame is one piece and covers the inside door frame. take a small flat screwdriver and place between the metal and the plastic frame and carefully pry the plastic frame cover outward. the frame will pop out of the door and over the latches. you will see your two handle screws.
