We have a Frigidaire range just under a year old, it's worked fine, except last night it started giving an F10 error. We were not using the oven at the time, just the cooktop. I went through and checked the resistance at the EOC (1124) and at the temperature probe (1120). All of the repair suggestions I've seen so far say that they should be different and, depending on which one is different, what part to replace.

So what do you do when they're both the same and you weren't even using the oven?

It has been extremely hot here lately however, with outdoor temperatures up around 110. Could that have any effect?

My wife thinks somewhere between 86-89 degrees. Today, after I reassembled the range, I plugged it in and it immediately gave the F10 error. My wife says that before the error last night, she had just turned on one burner and the bake light came on, things started to flash, then the F10 error went off.
