Hey, Take The Defrost Thermostat Out When Is Frozed And Check For Continuity, It Should Be Close, Then Heat It Up With A Heat Gun, Or A Blower, If You Dont Have One, And Check Continuty Again, If Still Close, Replace It, If It Is Open, Then Replace The Motherboard, Those Are The Only Parts Involved In The Defrost Process.

Thank you I will try that.. I am on the road right now so will have to wed or this weekend.. I read that when the thermostat goes out ( that is the one pictured at above right?) that it melts or breaks open. is that true? But I will check it out and post back. Thanks again for the reply.

Hi MacGyver Where did you buy your jumper? I looked at a local Radioshack but they didn't carry any jumpers. I would appreciate any info. Thanks Grumps

Thanks Grumps I didn't buy it, I made it.. Just get you a connector kit or just buy the male spade connectors and get a wire and connect them.. Paper clip could work too but make sure power is unplugged before touching the clip.. :p
