I have a Whirlpool aircleaner model#AP51030K that has a warped plastic blower wheel making a loud noise. What special tool is required to remove the 4 screws connecting the back cover. Also, I can't locate any parts information that shows availability of the motor or blower wheel. Is this thing supposed to be a "throw away item"? Thanks in advance for any help!

I am not sure but they are probably Torx.
See the below.
Torx - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

You should be able to get a handle and some Torx bits for 10 to 20 dollars.

If you can get the ones with a hole in the center.
Just makes the more universal.
This type is often used by electronics manufacturers and is s security Torx.
The torx bolt has a pin sticking up in the center of the torx female.
