My whirlpool LSR 6332KQO is not working. It fills, agitates but wont spin or empty in any cycle. Its over 5 years old. Not sure what the issue is but if its the controller its 90$ If thats what the issue is, is this a repair i can do as a consumer? if not is it worth repairing or should the machine be replaced?

This sounds more like a lid switch issue. Part number: AP3100003
By pass it or use a meter to test it for continuity and if it is the problem it is easy to replace, as the video will show.
