I have a Kenmore washer model #110.26652500 that will not always run through the spin cycle. The washer fills, agitates and drains consistently but will not automatically go through the spin cycle. If I open the lid and turn the basket then close the lid the washer will generally complete the spin cycle. I have read several posts regarding the no spin issue with this series of a Kenmore so I wanted to find out what the most likely culprit is for this problem. Clutch, brake, timer?? Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

Did you find a fix to your problem? I have the same problem with a Kenmore series 80. Thanks

I have ordered the part so I should know shortly. I will post another response once the part is installed.

BenjaminA, We have replaced the timer in our Kenmore series 80 washer & it seems to have corrected the issue. I have only tested one load so far but it is spinning like a champ.
