Stephanie, The "F31" error code means "oven temperature probe (aka a sensor) shorted". This probe has to be checked for continuity. The normal resistance reading at the room temperature should be about 1100 Ohms. The range has to be pulled out of the wall and the rear panel has to be removed to access the plugs and wires. If the reading is wrong, replace the probe. If the reading is correct, check the wires between the probe and the control board, including all plugs. If there is nothing wrong, replace the control board (aka a clock). It is recommended by the manufacturer to replace the overlay together with clock because it is glued on. - The probe/sensor Part number: AP4433173
