The stove burners work just fine but the oven will not light. The ignitor is glowing hot so I'm guessing that it is the valve-safety but I'm not sure and it's over $100.00. I've also been told that even if the Ignitor-oven gets hot it may not be sending the signal to the valve-safety and it's a $40.00 part so I really want to make sure before I buy a part.

Thank you

The only way to know for sure would be to use an amp probe to determine the current draw of the igniter. I wrote about this in a post Jenn-Air Gas Oven not Heating Properly where I talk about how the igniter works and how to test it. If you don't have a way to test the igniter, you are left taking an educated guess. Mine would be an igniter failure.
